    Question Long skips using winamp?

    I have a lot of long dj mixes (around 80 min) that i don't really want to split up. how can i control winamp using the remote so that it skips ahead 5 minutes with a single button press?

    Actually I did find one solution but its still tedious. You can use cue files tailored to each track with the winamp mp3cue plugin. But then you have to make cue files for each track. Anyone have a better solution.

    if it helps you:
    (vb code)

    Public Declare Function SendMessage Lib "user32" Alias "SendMessageA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal wMsg As Long, ByVal wParam As Long, ByVal lParam As Long) As Long

    const WM_WA_IPC = &H400
    const IPC_JUMPTOTIME = 106

    public sub JumpTo(Seconds as long)
    dim x
    x = SendMessage(hwndWA, WM_WA_IPC, (Seconds * 1000), IPC_JUMPTOTIME)
    end sub

    Status: I still need to get some money to buy the inverter.
