    How does "Turtle" inspire great performance and graphics??? I thought that was what you were after (see your post #6 above)

    ) i know that the turtle doesn't inspire what i wanted above, but if you knwo the story with the reabbit and the turtle :d, that is what i thought of

    thank you very much for your support, i'm stuck on something i haven't thought of... skin support... how to embed it...i have some skin components but none of them are flexible enough, i want to make the main screen or even the whole app to be customized until the last pixel, align buttons enable disable some buttons...but still i don't know what is better to use directx or not ...

    Better to use DirectX. Every other frontend (except streetdeck) uses normal windows with just skin support. With DirectX, it will be much easier to mimic the fluidness of the after market DVD navigation systems.

    Very true. But flash skinning is also hard. IMO its well worth it.

    Also very true. My choice for it was due to artist availability.

    But I suppose there's not a shortage of games developers!
