    Unhappy

    Take 1

Just downloaded it, looks very different to what your used to, locked up in ture style when I tried to play an mp3

Have to fiddle with it a bit more, oh well, time to reboot

    Take 2

Okay take two, looks more like version 2 this time, bare the thinger, not sure whats going. Played for a few seconds till I tried to change the volume, then it crashed

    Take 3

Getting there, the video playback is pretty sweet, bye bye media player, also the file manager thingie rather usefull.

Hang on it's locked up again.
And you say people actually pay money for M$ Windows?

Total re-design underway: on the whole progress is very slow as the car is taking up too much time :)

Very impressed. At first i though they were trying to rip off media player, but now I realise that this is a lot better. It hasn`t crashed on me (yet), it has truly random shuffle, fully skinnable, and i really like that media selctor thing. All they need to do now, to make a plug ins work, put in a balance slider, and it would also be nice if avs and video are in the same window.

Rob: the site says if you have any previous version of winamp 3 installed you should uninstall them and then install this version. may want to try that. i dunno.

Heh, your not the first one to say that... It's not my face, anyone who's heard of aphex twin will know who it is.

I`m not sure if API's have to even be learnt... I`d be be happy with a fullscreen custom skin, but even that requires a bit of programming (i think).
