    hi,

I have a rand mcnally streetfinder software package complete with the gps modual. The only problem I have is that I hve only 5' lcd screen and I can't read the street names. I tried map options, but that only lets me change the font, not the size. Help please.

    Re: streetfinder

have u tried fonts like 'Arial Bold' etc.... that are naturally bigger? Maybe type installing an exteranal font file from a font site on the next that is NOT Truetype.... as in not re-sizable..... a bit like the 'System' and 'Courier' fonts are......

Rand McNally GPS + CoPilot 2002 software = best combination. It's designed for small screens. The text is large and tells you turn by turn directions. On my 8.4in VGA touchscreen I don't like the streetfinder software. CoPilot is the best solution. Too bad there package is $399.
