I am.. But can you tell me how I can call the component from VB6? I like to create a extension plugin for RR.
Thanks
I don't know if anyone is interested in our C# Component for the HQCT. Maybe I will implement new features if it's needed for our project. The component is currently of beta quality.
It's licensed under LGPL, so anyone can contribute.
The component is written in Microsoft Visual C# 2005 Express Edition.
Implemented:
- Detect HQCT
- Set source
- Enable beep/navigation input
- Scan up/down
- Scan and return list of frequencies
- Set volume
- Set FM frequency for Europe/US
- Get status (stereo/level/rds available)
- COM visible (not tested)
Not implemented:
- Set base/treble/loudness
- RDS data
- Tune other bands (WX/MW/LW/SW)
- Worldwide tuning support

I don't have time to test it as a COM interface. However, I will make it COM visible in the next version. Think it will be available next week.
Sorry guys I am first...

Hello,
OMG, next time I will search before I start implementing... I'm using this in a commercial application (currently only as a demoproject) with only one type of CarPC (don't have other RadioTuners). What kind of license will the RadioHAL have when it's finished? If it may be used in commercial apps, then I may switch/contribute to the RadioHAL.
Maarten
very nice job!
@maartenclaes: Nice Job!
By the way, i think i will reprogramm this in VC the next Days.
The Reason is, that most CarPC's will run under XPe.
So I am not interested in installling .net 1.1 or even .net 2.0.
There is to much Overhead with this.
@FMode:
Also nice work, but still full of Bugs. And also .net...
Is someone still working on this project?
Maybe it is faster to start from scratch, than to work with your code.
In the Moment my CarPC is booting under XPe with Nav,mp3,DVD & OBD2 from a 1 GB CF. All Software invl. Nav (Travelbook SDK) is written in VC (dll) and VB (GUI). I use about 800 KB for XPe + Software. On the HD there is a EWF Overlay, so you can "Restore Settings" & "Factory default"...
