I'd look into StreetDeck or FrodoPlayer.
Development of FrodoPlayer is likely dead, unfortunately....

Other options are Freeway, Mobile Impact and Centrafuse. I can't speak for the user-friendliness of those front-ends, however.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I see no reason to not at least try to set up RR. If you know how to read, then look at the FAQ's and you will be able to do it. Not going to be "out-of-the-box" though like StreetDeck.

RR is not newbie friendly period, but once you get a hang of it, it's the best.
Anyway, try the download with the installer in the sticky. It'll make newbie job much much easier.

Yes you can use on your desktop PC.

Best way to download is find the member "guino" and look in his sig. There you will find the mystical link to a faraway place where you can download an easy installer. Make sure you get Winamp too.

The installer package included everything you need to run RR.

Where do i download the installer package from? I tried downloading from guino and it downloaded ok but i don't know what files to click on to install it? Is there a setup or install file that i'm missing. I am reading the faq on how to install and trying to figure it out but if anyone has any helpful hints, I know a little about computers but not enough i guess. If you could help me get road runner up and running i can play around and figure things out. Thanks again
