Need testers for a new interface!

I designed an mp3 player in VB using Winamp to play the songs...I would like some volunteers that will install my app and test it...

The app has some very specific requirements for now:
    • 5.6" TFT screen
    • You must use a finger mouse
    • WIN ME is the OS
    • Must use Winamp

Here is a list of features:
    • Treeview for songs (Artist - Album - Song)
    • Easy navigation with the finger mouse (Page up / down)
    • Easy navigation with "hot labels"
    • Full shuffle (non-repeating)
    • Rating system for each song
    • Ability to turn on Winamp visuals
    • Ability to shut down the entire PC with one button
    • Easy maintenance of songs

Note: For the treeview to work correctly, the all mp3 tags must be setup correctly - this can be a pain, but is only needed once)

I have also attached a screenshot for everyone's enjoyment...

If anyone is interested, let me know and I can send you the setup package...

    Thanks!

    -Mike

wow, impressive looking. its about time someone came out with a program that has the "Treeview for songs (Artist - Album - Song)". I used to use CAJUN (Linux) and thats one of the things that i miss the most. Its not even that hard to incorporate into an interface (main directory = artist name). Too bad i dont meet the requirements.

5.6" screen? Why? Windows cannot detect the physical size of a screen, so I assume there are personal reasons behind this. I would suggest you open things up a bit and say 5" - 7" screen, otherwise your not going to get any takers.

Same for the OS. Under the surface WinMe is 95/98 with an unreliable front end.

I am not criticising, I just dont think you will get many testers with such specific requirements.

phil mate, a bit of common sense.... !

I think all he was saying is that u need a color screen, not just a 40X4 TEXT LCD..... and that a 4Inch-5Inch screen wont cut it due to the fonts being un-readable..... of course anything larger will be better... looking at his screenshot 640x480 is the resolution, which is what I use for my mp3car app with my 5.6inch LCD...

oh and I think ME is the OS he is using, I am pretty sure it will work under at least win98. also ME is not exactly 95/98 with a frontend, it is that 95/98/ME are MS-DOS with a frontend.....

personally I think the app looks rather nice, not for me (since I wrote my own) but I am sure a few ppl will like it.... when mine hits the public that should give ppl here quite a bit of choice which is great...

I stated a 5.6" TFT screen because that is what I designed the app for...trust me, everything shows up quite well...sorry for the "demands", but if someone has a different size screenm just let me know and I can do a small redesign to make everything fit...

Win ME works VERY well in my car...VERY reliable...I suppose another OS would work like 95 or 98...I just haven't tested it...

I am just looking for anyone else out there with a simular setup to me...

    Anyone???
