    vblink question

    Hi all,

I'm using vblink to readout the winamp spectrum analyser, but I get very low readings on the higher freuqencies.
Anybody else had this problem? am I doing something wrong, or have any of you guys solved this?

    thanks

I haven't had any problems yet, although I have only tested VB link a bit. Have you tried the more direct route to see if they differ??

Hehe sorry that wasn't very helpful was it! What I really meant to say was have you tried the method of directly sampling the soundcard rather than using winamp and passing it through the dll. I can't remember now but there is a way to sample from the sound card - try searching on the software part of the board - it was discussed a few months (perhaps less??) back. I've moved away from the vis side of my app on to the playlist and player side of things, but plan to return to vis soon afterwards when I will post my results.

    Cheers

yeah I know what you're talking about... can't come up with the name right now. I tried that at first but I had trouble visualing the higher frequencies... so I thought to give vblink a try
