Dave what front end are you using?
Let me describe what I'm trying to do, and see if anyone has any ideas - I've done some searching but not found much.
I just got my carputer working yesterday, and it works well. When I turn on, the M2 waits 5 seconds, boots it up, good to go. When I turn it off, I've got it set to hibernate - the M2 gives the powerbutton a push, and off it goes. What I'd like to do is have the option to choose whether or not to shut down (already existing ala the "ask me what to do" option), but after a set period of time, say, 10 seconds it goes ahead and shuts down anyway.
This way, if I want to stay in the car and listen to music after its off for a bit (gas station, wherever) I can. I'm thinking a script might be the ticket, but I'm unsure as I don't have alot of experience with them.
Anyone remember seeing something like this in the past? Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks for the help - Dave
(if I've done a horrible jobing, scold me and point me in the right direction)

Carputer Haiku (thanks Ian Hughes)
Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.
I'm using Frodoplayer right now, trying to go with something less bulky than RR
