    SuperFetch in XP useful?

    Hey all,

    I came across some site where i could download a registry tweak to enable SuperFetch (what`s in Vista) in XP. Does anyone have any experience with that for Car PC use?

    my guess would be that its BS. i just skimed over the thread and found this

    EnableSuperfetch Tweak

    Myth - "Enabling this will improve performance in Windows XP as it does in Windows Vista."

    Reality - "Windows internals guru Mark Russinovich said this won't work, the "Superfetch" string isn't even in the Windows XP kernel (check with strings.exe)"
