    Virtual serial port?

    I want to write some c# code to read NMEA data from my GPS but I don’t want to rip the GPS out of my car to be able to code this up. Is there any way to copy a bunch of GPS output, save it to a file and then feed that to the serial port when I am testing?

    Alternately, does anyone have any C# code they have written that they would be willing to share?

    Download GPSgate, and use it to simulate a GPS in a virtual com port.
