Fusion Brain is growing heaps more momentum by the day as it has far more inputs and outputs along with an array of sensors. Best of all is the price the Brain is $55 and the sensors are between 5 and 30 depending on which one.

I would definatly like to see a brain plug in.

Is it a setting or something I need to change to make it fade out quicker?
You're quite right, there's a small bug there. If you set the option "Hide toolbar in fullscreen view" to "Yes" in the music settings then the bar will hide after a few seconds. The minor bug is that the toolbar should always hide in the video player irrespective of that setting.

this looks very promising ... after playing with it for only a little while here one or two "bugs" that I think I've found.

The mute button and the mute indicator on the screen are opposite, icon says mute while the button shows unmuted.

Using the home button gives very irratic results ... when browsing thru pictures / music, after selecting something to play then press the home button to go back up thru the menus but only some of them actually appear until eventually you arrive at the home page.

As with previous posts, ability to display a static background image rather than the Vis would be great.

On vista, after closing the program, vista reports that the program has stopped working even though you correctly closed the app.

Having said all that ... this is a very good piece of software for a beta release, very impressive. I'll be interested to see how it works on my low powered cap pc tomorrow. running on a core2duo with 2GB Ram etc for testing ...

I have a lot of music files in my library, a random play feature would be nice. Also, a search feature would be handy.

Any updates on this? I really like this frontend, seems very compatible with my ghetto rigged computer.

3kgtslflip - You asked about updates, I think the @homemedia guys are working on some stuff, not sure when the next release will be though.

I've found you can disable the switching to the visuals screen by editing the music-InterfaceDescriptor.xml file and comment out or remove the following line
I would comment it out as the line actually suggests that the code will be changed so that the visuals screen can be disabled by changing some setting somewhere.

    <Expression name="music.fullscreen">meta.empty("settings.theme.music-fullscreen") or meta("settings.theme.music-fullscreen")</Expression>

This disables the switching to the visuals screen, the visual will still show but it will be overlayed ontop of the background image.

I've been playing with the "Ice" theme and I've made some minor changes to it to suit my needs.

One was the above - disabling of the visuals screen.

Another change I did was to get rid of the grey background to the play controls, so now I see more of my background image and the buttons simply sit ontop of the background.

I've made the song list menu and it's slider more transparent, again this brings out the background even more, oh and course I;ve changed the background.

I'm not going to have time in the next few weeks but I will get back to this and make some further changes.

Ultimately I want to come up with my own theme :-)

I'll post a screen shot of my changed theme when I get a chance.

Awesome The6. I was just thinking that, I would love to see some more themes for this frontend.

Heres a pic of the changes - the snapshot picture doesn't look as good as the real thing
