SD in G4 not accessing internet

new G4/SD installation with 802.11 internet access. I have internet access in windows: I can get on the internet using IE from the G4. SD weather mod states it can't find server. I used the weather link in IE on the G4 and I can see the XML data but the XML file on the G4 is blank. SD not accessing the internet. Is there a setting I am missing to allow SD to access the internet? I don't remember doing anything on my desktop during development.

There is no setting in SD...it will access if your connected. Does your nav download earth when in hybrid mode. Have you tried the gas price dig mod or even launchcast internet radio?

On my development system I have version 1.6 but my G4 has 1.8 and no internet radio on the 1.8. They both connect through the same wireless hub but the 1.6 can connect and the 1.8 can't. The nav won't download but I pulled the weather link that the weather mod is using and it works through IE while using the G4. The weather mod states it can't find the server when it tries in SD. Gas mod only shows Seattle prices.

Try the second page for internet radio...the more button?

gas price and weather don't work until you have a lock on your zipcode...
