Activate either the AM/FM radio or the new "Radio" and try and listen to any AM station. The "bug" occurs everytime, regardless of where I am located, and regradless of if the G4 is coming out of hibernation or a fresh reboot...ever since I updated to 1.1.0.0. (I am unsure as to what I was upgrading from, I ordered my G4 on 7/4/07 and received it one week later if that helps you deteremine what version you were shipping preinstalled)
Please provide any relevent information regarding the issue you have encountered.
After updating to 1.1.0.0 most AM radio stations are completely static, and some that do come in can be way off. For example (in the Metro-Balitmore area) AM 680 no longer comes in at all. When I have the dial set to AM 1090 I am picking up AM 1190. AM 1500 comes in, but not as strong. The two or three FM stations I listen to (91.9, 95.1, and 103.5) appear unaffected. Upon the suggestion of naquel (AM radio not working (G4, SD, Me?)) I installed an older version (1.0.8.1) and the problems went away and the AM stations returned.
No error messages were ever given. I am not using the developers mode, but am using -testmode. The only digitalmod installed by me is the GPS Gas Prices.
threads merged since they are reporting the exact same issue.
Any updates on this Adam?

Internally, no one has been able to reproduce this issue on their G4s, in Baltimore even.
This seems to be a machine specific issue.

Is the antenna you are using powered? I am not able to get a strong signal on the bench here. it stops on some stations that have no sound? I will see what I get on the ride home. can you post a log file?
I am not using a powered antenna, worked fine when I rolled back the update though... Where would I get the log file for this from?

The same place where all log files are located. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/stre...where-log.html
There is not a log file for each piece of hardware, just an overall log file for StreetDeck.

I've been out of town (and 8 states away from my car) all week. I fly home this weekend and I'll get my logs up for you. Thanks for your attention to this.

The AM works but the stations are very "iffy". I understand the issues here and I will report this to chuck for further testing.
