Thread: video problem

I'm not sure I understand this comment:

I don't see the video the audio is flashing

Since 'audio' is sound, I'm not sure how the sound is flashing. Perhaps you mean the video is flashing?

Are you able to recreate this issue on any other PC?

Can any other replicate this issue?

I dont have a log file but Yesterday I tried messing with my streetdeck because I have the intentions of playing more music videos in my car. I have come to realize it's pointless. I don't know if its my setup or what but I can have a music video play fine but once it finishes it locks up, if i stop it and go back and try to click replay I get the audio with a black screen. If i go back and select a different video it locks up.

I was having all sorts of problems with Xvid/Divx playback with mine...and I just ended up installing the latest Xvid codec - http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/ and it seem to cure all the problems I was having, plus it seems like the video looks better (blockiness is gone) than with the codec that comes from SD Ffdshow.

Whats up, this is music to my ears and I will try it in the morning. did you have to uninstall anything or did you just install that codec pack?

Didn't need to uninstall...just installed the Xvid codec from the link...

I have tried with your codec mr. tranman, but don't resolve the problem I have discovered that problem appear only with the file of big dimension, because I have tried with one of 700Mb and the video remain black and the audio is intermittent with file of 22 mb are all ok.
I think that is a problem of software because sometime when I try to open a video of 22mb the SD open another window under the SD video module in that window there is playng video

Odd because I didnt get a chance to install the codec pack yet but my sd has the same issue your having but with music videos that are 50-100mb

Hmmm, seems like I'm experiencing these types of problems again. It looks like the DirectX rendering engine isn't properly redrawing the video file within the Streetdeck window...I'm having issues with video tearing.

Please retest with the latest release and report back with your findings: Download StreetDeck Updates
