music not indexing - 1.1.0.0

This was mentioned many times prior but never listed as a bug in the proper section. I had an issue that if i had auto index on in SD it would double up a lot of my music and skip the rest so it was annoying to say the least. For now use WMP to do your library it works like a charm everytime.

I just put in the new version. I was able to index before. But no longer am able to!

1.1.0.9 dosnt seem to want to load, at least it still shows the previous version on the about screen

I'm not sure I follow. I've isntalled both 1.1.0.9 releases and it's reading as 1.1.0.9.

If its not showing 1.1.0.9 after updating to it. Please post the update log in My Documents\StreetDeck\Log\Updater.

Is it indexing that is not workign in music settings or auto indexing?

Are your media paths set correctly?

Please run with -verbose and post a log after it tries to index.

ok i am sure i am doing it correctly, drop the file into the root c:=\ and run it. right?

No, for manual indexing to work in music settings, all the files have to be in your Music directory, usually My Documents\My Music. For automatic indexing to work, your files have to be in My Documents\My Music\StreetDeck Import. Files in the import directory will automatically be moved to your music directory after indexing.

You can change the paths with the media paths tool.
