Thank you for your suggestions. I may not have agreed with them all, some will make it a better skin.

No, i refered to the PSD's for the graphics which are of a higher quality than those that you are using.
Nothing to do with any skin builder program for a specific Front End.
Basically I was trying to help you source better quality graphics, but hey if you are happy with that poor quality set you are using, go for it.
And to say something positive, making the curved bars tubular does look better than the original ones you were doing, but watch the edges where they come in contact with the top and bottom bits.
This skin actually works pretty well. Some of the graphics could use some crisping...but thats pretty easy to do. Doubt that it's noticable on the smaller screen though. Also, a quick look at the default set of images shows a little under 500 images in total...so updating those takes a bit of time. This is version 1, so now that you have the functionality that you want down, updating the graphics is the easy part...well, not that doing the sliders or the other functionality items are necessarily the hard part of course...
Skins aren't built in a day. This is a start of a good skin Daniel...keep it up!
So is this better? Skin is done and uploaded. Link is here....

Look for tubewing100.sdz
Not going to change 1.04 until I get some feedback on it. Thanks again guys.
It's hard to explain "sliders" on a screenshot. Here's a video. It also shows off the new slider design. The number changing at the bottom near the middle is the speed controlled volume.

Doesn't look bad.
Only thing that looks off to me would be the text and the intersections of the horizontal gray tuby bars and the curvy gray vertical bars. If you are trying to do a curved in on the vertical and then the horizontal "lays" ontop, then I think it just needs more symmetry.
Same gripe with the text. None of them are lined up in the middle. Since the first few "Radio" "Satellite Radio" "Music", and "Phone" have no downward sticks like "jgypq" have, you can move them farther down then "Navigation" with the "g". Also you have all that room, make the text bigger. On a small screen you can never have too big a text.
And as a side, to both E and daniel, if you click back too many times, it doesnt close RR in all skins. And even in skins where it does happen, all you do is set the exit to make the popup menu where you choose restart/hibernate/power off/exit. It doesnt appear in the same area. I very rarely ever click back too many times, but when I do, the menu pops up and I just push cancel. Easy peasy.
I agree. Probably will try a "nail" (you would have to know the program I'm using to understand that) next time rather than the tube. See if that gets closer. Mainly was just showing what could be done. First few releases have been functionality over cosmetic. The cosmetic is fairly easy as most everything (sliders) are taken from a single template.
On this one, there is a problem for the main 3 screens (home, page 2, and digital mods). Those screens actually use cut out buttons in order to show focus, unfocus, and pressed. The options on fonts is left, center, and right. Not much I can do past that. I might try a larger font, but I'm not a big fan of the larger text. I understand your point, but on your own computer, you usually know what it says.
It's only on the carwings skin. If you go back one too many times, it actually shuts down RR. Doesn't even give you the options.
Really appreciate the feedback! Getting more from you guys than I am from the SD folks. ;)
