    Error loading DVD

    When I go to start the DVD player, I get the error listed at the end of this log entry:
    WARNING: .\DVDManager.cpp:988 HRCALL Failed!
    0x8004027b = hr = m_pIDvdGB->RenderDvdVideoVolume(strDVDPath.IsEmpty() ? NULL : A2W(strDVDPath), NULL, &rs)

    0x8004027b = hr = InitDVD_Help(lpszDVDPath)

    INFO: Message Box:
    DVD Error
    There was an error while trying to initialize the DVD Video disc. Please see the log for details.

    I currently have media player 11 installed.

    Have you installed the DVD codec that's located in the requirements FAQ?

    I did...originally. Unfortunately I think I overlooked that after I reformatted and reinstalled. Thanks for the reply.

    no problem. it's easy to forget something as small as that when you have many other things to install when reformatting.

    If there's a way to run SD via remote desktop, I'll let you know shortly. Otherwise, once I get home I'll be able to verify.

    Just reporting back that if you remember to install/reinstall everything, you should have no problems playing DVD's.

    Thanks again for the reminder. I'm attempting the install this weekend, so I hope all goes well.
