Thread: Street Deck and iBus interface

Now I am testing StreetDeck and so far I found some strange in my opinion problem. By the way, sorry - English is not my first language

So far - I am using iBus interface and iBusComm application which basically decodes steeringwheel buton's presses in to keyboard presses. It works the following way: you setting up in ibusscomm.ini file some keyboard button for specific button pressed on the steering wheel and also setting up the window to which these keyboard presses should be send. For example if I set as a receiver windo Notepad and as Volume Up and Volume Down buttons "U' and "D" than after I start notepad and press VOL + or VOL - on my steering wheel I will have these symbols (U and D) printed in notepad.

So far when I am trying to work with SD it does not work for some reason. I setted U and D as a hotkeys for Volume Up and Down and when I press these buttons on the keyboard volume changes but when I am sennding these commands thru ibusscomm application SD does not react on these presses.
Of course all my settings are correct. I checked all of them many many times and did many different expreriments before post all this here. So maybe some one who had an expirience with ibuss and SD may help me. I know that there is similar problem with Centrafuse Maybe SD somehow prevents receiving messages as a keyboard shourcuts (buttons) from outside (from applications ) ? Please help.
