Thread: Streetdeck Wont Open - 1.0.4.1

A few things:

1) When posting a bug report, you should not add it onto an existing thread. you should create a new thread in the bug reporting forum.

2) Your StreetDeck version is horrifically out of date. We are running supporting 1.1.0.0. Before you go any further, you should update as we cannot support old versions of the software. New versions are created to fix bugs. Please see this thread for the update: Download StreetDeck Updates

3) The issue you are reporting does not appear to be a bug, it appears to be a machine/user specific issue. As such, this should not be posted in the bug reporting forum.

4) You state that your PC hardware is the same as the specs under your name, however, you have not filled out any of that information in your UserCP according to this thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/anno...r-profile.html

sorry im new to all of this. Sd was working and I messed with a few things on my carputer and next thing I know SD wont open. I tried updating and it gives me the same error . I tried unistalling and reinstalling SD and still I get the same error. everything else works fine on the computer. any suggestions?

since you say you messed with a few things on your computer then it stopped working I would say it's the things you messed with on your computer that are causing StreetDeck to not work.

After Syncing an external media sorce(that completed with some ???) errors I get the same error and SD wont start.

"Could not open log file!"

"Generic Error"

Looking at the Windows application log it says somthing about an open registry connection with SD?

Well, since you revived a nearly year old thread...what version are you running? Have you tried updating to the next to latest? 1.1.1.0?

Most startup errors can be corrected by deleting the options.sdo file and restarting. The file can be found in /my documents/streetdeck folder. When you restart Streetdeck, it goes through another setup and creates a new options.sdo file. It does NOT effect the registration codes.
