So something that broke upgrading to 126.96.36.199 will be all better in 188.8.131.52?
Ok... didnt see it in the 'Features' list.... so I didnt know about it :-)
when do you expect to release 184.108.40.206? Any chance it fixes my DVD problem?
Did you need that Silabs DLL to look into it?
mangus can you post a link to that dll?
Allright... here we go!
Radio works now!! The problem is... when the radio is playing, its really choppy, and SD is REAL sluggish. Once I move to something else... Its fine again.
Also I have noticed (aside from the update... did it before) that if I try to uncheck 'static background' the 'highlights' around the buttons go all goofy.
Attached is a verbose log from my latest run.... I managed to crash it in the end by trying to hit the 'configure' button in the radio settings. I understand, this may be caused by the Silabs 'hack'
Chuck, I really appreciate the time you have spent the last 24 hours or so making all this come together!! I really didnt expect the 220.127.116.11 release that quick at all!
I do like the new look of the Radio module... I presume there is no longer any support for RDS? (was there ever I guess is really a question too)
Oh yeah!! I tried the GPSBaud setup.... and failed... (granted, I am not POSITIVE I got the command right when I did it...was going from memory)
If you specified the baud rate parameter, you should see a line in the log that looks something like CNAVGPSController::Connect - GPS connecting at... and it will tell you the baud rate it tried to use to connect.
The boomzbox will support RDS as well as the sideband data broadcast over HD radio. Support for radiator plugins isnt' going to get much better then it is now.
I think one of the other developers here has a si-labs radio, I'm working on locating it, but I can't confirm when or if we can fix anything with it yet.
How much is the Boomzbox?
And if the silabs is gonna be tough to fix... how can I 'downgrade' myself back to the older version? Considering IMO, the current benefits dont out-weigh the loss of broadcast radio for me! (at least this week while i have to drive the 'Burb to work )
Another problem I have noticed (not just in the update, but the update didn't fix it), is when going to the playlist option under music, SD pauses/locks up for several seconds, and does the same thing when selecting auto playlists. I have to wait several seconds before I can scroll down the screen to "rated music", which is at the bottom. Anyone else have this problem or is it just a bad install of something?
