To find other streetdecks for network gps broadcasting.
Why is streetdeck broadcasting on udp/4000 to 255.255.255.255:4000?

Does it still do that when the network gps broadcast feature is turned off or however it's called in the Navigation configuration options (last option I think in 1.1.1.0).

Yeah, I have my option turned off but still blasting the broadcast. I'm running a full time website on my truck routed through changeip's (the dude above) systems and he was letting me know that my truck was sending udp/4000 packets through his router and initially thought it was the witty worm virus or some virus utilizing the ICQv3 protocol on udp/4000. That's what ignited this topic. After a couple days and running the netstat -abno command - only to find that streetdeck is the culprit giving out the udp/4000 and thanks to god of cpu for putting us at rest. It's not a bad thing, just a heads up that the option to broadcast or search for other streetdecks on the network feature is turned off and still blasting the udp/4000 saying, I'm here! I'm here, who cares what the user set the option to..."
