    Media Player Error

When I start SD, if I have a song that was playing when closed the previous time, I sometimes get a media error and it tells me that the song will be removed from the queue. If I search that same song it will play fine. whats the deal here. This happens pretty frequently. Any ideas?

I second that I have exactly the same thing happen to me all the time on both 1.1.1.0 and 1.1.16.

Also I noticed that when I save a playlist and load it the first time all the songs for the playlist will be visable. When I close StreetDeck and reopen StreetDeck many of the songs in the playlist will be missing. If I clear the queue and reload the same playlist all the songs will now be visable.

I have been able to replicate this on my CarPC and on my laptop in development environment. The attached .mp3 is one of the many songs that will always disappear when StreetDeck is closed then reopened.

    10 - Château Flight - Baccula.zip

    P.S

The song is pretty sweet house song if you like that sort of thing

perhaps some issue with special characters? do other mp3's of yours also have special characters in their name?

I'm not sure what you mean by special characters? If you mean that some songs might have an _ in it then possibly. But if you mean special characters like the sample song from the post above, then no. I also don't see how that would be relevant. I could see how this would matter for organizing my music, For some reason, when restarting SD the media player won't find the file extenstion. It even shows in the error dialogue the file path of where the mp3 is. Just won't initially recognize it, till I research and reply it. Over and Over again this will happen.

By Jove I think you got it!!! I just did an initial test and removed the special character, after closing then reopening StreetDeck the song was in the playlist (I'll continue testing).

But I'm still experiencing the same issue Autockr989 initially mentioned but at least one mystery is solved.

    Thanks

    P.S

Anybody listen to that song? pretty hot huh ^_^

I meant the a with the accent in the file name above, and lo and behold, it seems to have been the thing for Kimota. Stranger things have happened.
