Amen. It's extremely frustrating and takes twice as long to enter in any data with an ABC one as it does with QWERTY.
(BTW, Centrafuse uses QWERTY as God intended)
Yea I know there is a skin out for it... I made it.
But why can the QWERTY keyboad be on the default install and updates? there is really no use for an ABC keyboard. Everyone in the world uses QWERTY so I am sure it is confusing for everyone to type in ABC.
That was the first change I had to make to SD.

I guess I never actually tried to use the keyboard, just wrote the letters on the touchscreen Palm-style.
I agree that QWERTY is much more universal for PC literate folk (ie the majority of carpc users)
This is a change that could really benifit SD.
Can this PLEASE be added to the next update???

Agreed.... the current keyboard layout is a pain

If I donīt remember it. It never happened
Plus, I have NEVER EVER gotten a skin to work in SD. :-\
And on top of that, as I understand the skins, they are a "snapshot" basically of a moment in time. So if you did your skin prior to the second version of the radio screen, you would be stuck with that sucky version of the radio correct? It would be nice if the QWERTY layout were more like a Digital Mod, in that it just replaced all occurances of the ABC keyboard, and was "skin agnostic".
Plus the current keyboard is also not consistent. Sometimes the 'search' button is not silver, sometimes it is. And I could be mistaken on this part, but I think sometimes buttons are even in different places on different keyboard screens.
