i think the one that is closest to the killer app that everyone should reference is CoPilot. Used version 8 and it was the most feature rich, robust, reliable one I ever used...hands down it schools all others.
wish sd allowed the use of 3rd party ones integrated into it like RR or some others.
I had CoPilot 7 or 8 for laptops, don't remember which now, I think 8 (still using the gps hardware from CoPilot) and the maps look crappy compared to SD. CoPilot for laptops was also clearly not designed for a small screen.
I never had version 7. It's been a while since using version 8, but it's the features that made it superior. Its routing, rerouting, avoiding roads, etc.
It's fascinating to see how a spectacular product like SD can be so brutally miss-managed. When a company has a policy of not quoting release dates, then we're talking lax management.
SD is clearly not a priority in the eyes of the developers. I think they've all moved on.
They should just sell the software to Fluxmedia.
I hate the static JPG style centrafuse GUI. These products need to merge.
