Well in a year, tell me how that committee is working out for ya.

When someone has an idea for something, and then brings in a committee to vote on and change that idea, things go reall really bad. Might work for HOA, but not software.

One person with the idea, telling everyone else what they will be writing to help that idea. Turns out it's a bad idea, nobody buys it. Take suggestions, but one person has final say.

    haha

A wise man once said: “Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm” or should I say bug report to bug report. All hail those who are not cheap and are not ignorant.

!= means not equal to. Read before you rant.

Thank you for your very worthless post. Apparently you haven't read all 11 pages of this thread becuase you would have understood more than just complaining about features that aren't readily available and more about the support issue. But hey, I guess when you speak out of ignorance before knowing all the facts one wouldn't expect someone like you to have a very informative and informational opinion. To undermine our intelligence by your comments above is simply stupid. I don't go telling people their not bright for buying a house that was built by a contractor. Don't tell people there not to bright for buying a jaguar because Ford is in the process of selling them. Maybe we should just simply call you Miss Cleapatra, since apparently you know the future of Streetdeck. Since all in all WE are not to bright for not have a crystal ball to tell us where the future lies with the product. I CAN SEE YOU DO!

THANKS GOD FOR GIVING US IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT NOTHING!!!
I've been around the block a bit, I think I've heard the complaints for a couple years now.... many of the DFW crowd know who I am, and know that I don't really care if I offend. Just make sure your tray table is in the upright, and locked position, and keep on holding out for your issues to be fixed, or features that most have been waiting for. Maybe you should've gotten the hint when the talk of paying for updates was hinted at a year or so ago. You probably have a better chance of flying the plane (for us "ignorant" people that would be developing the products yourself), you can expect what you developed to be added to their product that they sell to you, but don't expect a dime. Is your software working better than others because you paid a ton for it, or are you holding out because you paid so much for it. Either way time is money for most, and your not finished spending yet. ciao!

Let me tell you about open source, and yeah, let's use RR as an example. Someone designs a skin, lets say digital xy76.3.......wow, it works great with rr, release 7.4, but no one checked with 7.3. Oh yeah, and it doesn't work with Jim's version of a navigation page, even though jims navigation page works fine with 7.3 and 7.4. Then we get Sam's rr config. Works great with rr 7, but will wipe out your harddrive with rr 7.4

Nah, think I'll stay where I am.

Since open source is so good, does that mean that anyday now we should expect to see....

"Microsoft, Garmin, team with RoadRunner for the ....(whatever)..."

I expect that when I see....

"Linux puts Bill Gates in the Unemployment Line!"

Why are you lashing out at me when your real issue is that the SD developers have abandoned their customers? My only point was that 'IF' SD were open source, someone else could step in and keep it going.

Yes, but those rumors were started by users...not by the SD people so it doesnt really hold water...

Well, maybe you should stop whoring around the block. I'm more intriqued by people's ignorance rather than insulted. I'll go on AAALLLLLL DDDAYYYY!!! I can see that you are unaware of how business and PURCHASING a license works. You BUY thats right ACTUALLY PAY for the license. You get everything that was promised under those agreements. (this is what is known as terms and agreements) After that and only after that is when a business has the right (Due Diligence) to request some sort of license renewal to its existing (already licensee) customers with the future enhancement of the product.

Hey NeonDev: Please proof read my post. I might have misspelled some words.
