marchello2000 I disagree 100% with your statement about centerfuse being a good thing to add competition. I am not sure if you realize what has gone on for 6+ months but GoC and the team has basically given up on SD. You have provided us with more useful work then SD has, that is sad to say the least.

It's really a loss, that it seems SD is headed south. Espacially for me.
I didn't bought SD for my car pc. I have installed a carpc because of SD !!
No other software had forced me to spend so much work and money on this.

When RR or CF would satisfy me, I had bought a Pioneer or something like this.

The potential of SD is the only thing, which gives the reason for a Car PC !!

This whole shabang is sketchy and mysterious. Who knows, maybe GoC is in his bat cave cooking up a sick SD v2.0.....but maybe that's the overly optimistic side of me!

i have seen it coming already 2 years ago and had to accept that i spent $150 for nothing.

sd was never able to fulfill basic car pc requirements that is
1. correct navigation (mappoint engine is just ridicilous)
2. music navigation and easy loading

the only thing was the nice ui which teased me to buy but i went back to road runner quickly. bit hard to configure but works like a charm and the community is actively supporting and further develop it.

Anybody else noticed that under RedGTiVR6's CarPC spec's she now list Centrafuse as her front-end HMMMmmm makes me wonder.

What really erks me about this whole nonesense is that no one from SD or MP3CAR has bothered to respond to any of these threads posted in the past couple of days. How is this product supposed to gain traction from future customers if anyone looking to buy it reads these forums. If I was in a search for a new front end and started researching on this forum, I would have looked elsewhere after reading the negativity with no response from the support staff. Especially getting the bad vibe from the existing customers and then going to the MP3 website to see the Centrafuse banner being waved on the front page.

Kimota: good point about Red's frontend tag. You would think even if she is doing testing to better familairize, she would have (Like many other people that use two frontends) Streetdeck/Centrafuse.
