I find a "last added" feature is so extrem usefull, that it's a crime when you don't implement such features and possibilities. I think we have carpcs, because we want more than a HU can... and this is just an example.

I couldn't agree more. Until I realized about the access of the usb drive through SD, I was so frustrated with adding new music and finding it to play. Me personally when I dowload new music, its as fresh as an 18 year old girl (no lube needed) and that is the stuff I want to continully play

Just went through......music view queue is listed twice in a row. Maybe one of those?
For everything (genre, artist, album,..) but not for playlist...

I have asked GoC to add this, but he suggested me to do a work around with writing a digital mod.. pfff
A further example of SD's care for us :-)

Could the Last added feature be implemented through a digital mod?

What do you need to implement... you can perfect define a playlist with the last 100 added songs and only house music and only songs longer than 3 minutes e.g. ;-)

The digital mod GoC has explaint somewhere will only be able to route you to the playlist overlay... and you have to choose there your playlist.

I would think this could be easier done than an addon. I was thinking just change the command structure (path) of a current unused gesture/voice.
    My opinion is my own.

If you guys wanna see the way music should be handled try RR with LSX Void Skin, with BBAA(browse by album art is built in) the intelligent manner in which browsing music\adding music is handled and with 5 easy to use presets (easy to save playlist) you will die laughing when you go back to SD.

As I mentioned before SD does have features I really find to be great but in my case music is the the main function of my CarPC. I am constantly adding new music to my collection the manner SD handles browsing and selecting music is horrid. For me it was a case of the negatives far outweighing the positives.

And with transparent AVS visuals you can't beat RR with LSX for eye candy (the visualization seen below is actually animated)

/\ That looks sweet can't wait to try it. One thing RR has over SD and CF, is the way media is added to the library. I've used all three and RR is the champ when it comes to this. I have a 250gb external filled with music. When I load it directly to WMP it takes about an hour and a half. I don't ever **** with SD loading my music anymore. CF can do it in about 40 minutes. When using winamp 2.95 and RR it takes about 5 minutes, tags and all. And RR with winamp will even play 24 bit flac's which, SD will not do for some reason.

Centrafuse takes over Streetdeck......sure.....and right after that Linux will take over Windows. Comparison is pretty much the same.
    My opinion is my own.

No. your comparison is the same as RR taking over Centrafuse or SD.
