We're not comparing betas, they are betas for a reason. I run SD. I'm still running SD or plan to atleast in a week once I'm done redoing my installation. I haven't had enough problems to complain about it, if any at all. I've had it for a while now. It doesn't crash on me on my old setup unless I'm tweaking or god forbid those solar flares start flaring up again. DVD works fine for me. Not sure what your problem was. But I'm sure if you ever want to try SD again that the people here would be more than greatful to help you out =oD.

I asked for repeated help on my issues, and I got spotted response.

Dont get me wrong, SD has tons of potential. It just never worked right for me, right from the begining. Support wasnt really there. I see much more oppurtunity with the future of CF now.

I understand the fact that StreetDeck has worked out for you. We understand that you don't like CF. That's fine. My argument has never been that they should give us CF. I like StreetDeck. My problem is that is has never fully worked for me. This does not mean that I have not yet received features that I was expecting. This means things such as ODBII working with the 'supported' adapter, has not yet worked (I know why, but I cant get a dev to fix it). Music indexing over a certain size index causes startup issues. Resuming from sleep in nav mode sometimes sets my location in Nevada and doesnt recover. These are the types of things that many of us have been howling about and are upset about not being fixed in a product we have paid for.

So please stow the vitriol that you have for those of us who are upset at StreetDeck/MP3Car. You may not be experiencing the same problems as us...but the fact is we ARE experiencing them. You dont have to understand us, but you do have to treat us with some common courtesy and respect.

I had an offer from someone to buy my copy of SD...

did you know you arent allowed to transfer it? So Guess what... our money is basically wasted. Its now worthless junk IMO.

I have no problem with those that don't like streetdeck. I have no problem with those that like centrafuse. What I DO have a problem with is people coming to a streetdeck thread and telling us how "dumb" we are for not liking the same software they do.
I don't like them coming here giving sales pitches. I don't like people coming in here saying that everyone has the same issues with streetdeck that they do when obviously, they don't speak for me.

Bottom line is, I support your right to like whatever you want or dislike whatever you want. I spent 10 years and gave up part of my right arm defending to the death your right to it. As a matter of fact, if you look back in this STREETDECK thread, you will see where I have told people they weren't mean enough to the streetdeck people.

However, when you cross that line into advertising exec for the competition, or spend days and days telling me my thoughts are wrong and I should change my mind, well, I'm going to call you on that and we're gonna have a nice little debate.

Edit: Not sure how many of my threads you are following, but when ANYONE mentions a specific issue with Streetdeck (or any frontend for that matter), If I can help in ANY way, I do. Even if I think I might be able to help, I do. But when you come in and just say "Streetdeck sucks, it crashed on me". How are any of us going to help??

nice, i still support streetdeck also. and i love every bit of it, me phone works and most of everything in streetdeck works very well.
