Honestly guys we do not buy your product (invest) in something that has no forward movement and all we get are excuses that things will soon be resolved. I would have been more than happy if it worked strainght from the box. i believe this is what we all paid for.
I am in the UK and calling your office only to be put on to an answering machine everytime is worse than calling India to speak to guys with no clue. So please sort yourselves out and get back to working on streetdeck coz some of us still believe in this product.....
Enough has been said by all your customers. Now what does SD management have to say for themselves???
Time to move the "streetdeck" section over to the "no longer supported" section....
hehe, StreetDeck Status thread is closed *forever*![]()

this whole thing is a complete farce! i might as well have burned my money , my car with the carputer and sd is being sold , neddless to say my new comp will not be sd but centrafuse powered! and NOT be from mp3car !
I still don't understand the "burn my money" concept. After rebuilding, reloading, and reactivating SD on the new system, not only does everything work that worked before(don't care about bt phone), but even the DVD part works now. Here are the ONLY things I have found that do not work on SD v1.1.1.6. Note the trend.....
1. BT phone. No comment....
1b. HD Radio. This one does tick me off a bit. Either finish boomzbox or code something else dammit. It doesn't tick me off enough to throw in the towel though.
2. Autohide volume after 1.1.1.0 (digital Mod)/ Crashes SD/mappoint
3. Autohide zoom after 1.1.1.0 (digital Mod)/ Crashes SD/mappoint
4. Weather (digital mod)/service changed
5. GPS gas price locator (digital mod)/service changed
Oh well.
My opinion is my own.
As much as I'm frustrated with the situation also, it should be noted that the developers are not responsible for digitalmods that were created by SD members (who are spending their own evenings creating the mods for free), which includes the Gas price locator and the autohide mods.
Yep...while there were those who were overly critical/not constructive in their comments, the thread AS A WHOLE was beneficial. I think that warnings to the users posting the junk would have been far more appropriate than denying the contributors their ability to discuss the issue.
