Unfortunately, that means that quite a bit of entirely valid criticism of the current situation will also _relatively_ cease to exist for new users/potential customers visiting the forums to research SD...information that they should be aware of before making a purchase decision.
Threads are essentially sorted based on popularity, since a thread that attracts frequent posting is a thread that many members of the community are interested in, and closing a thread artificially changes that dynamic. That's why I would prefer that individual members be warned as violations occur.
