That is exactly why I thought it was idiotic when someone made the suggestion of making the status thread a sticky and locking it for updates. Good job giving mp3car team the perfect chance to blow off every paying customer.
You could try picketting the MP3car shop![]()

Actually, it was first locked, then made into a sticky. The locking was done by the mods, in order to ease their workload of constantly having to deal with ****ed of SD customers who go over the line on forum posting. The sticky was at the suggestion of the users, who were upset that the thread would just drop off the boards, and some unsuspecting person might never see it, then buy SD, and be upset at the broken promises.
All in all, it was a compromise. Not necessarily one I agree with, but better than just locking it, and not making it a sticky.
Having read through the whole of this thread over a couple of days, I find it very surprising that no-one has picked up on the fact that Jan is now the Customer Service Manager & Forum Administrator over at Flux.
Or was it announced somewhere else?
This has been known for a while probably since the beg. of this whole debackled mess with SD and MP3car.
Let's just say other thread was started 4-25-08. So can we say other month bites the dust?
Somewhere she explained in detail why she left. I dont know if i read it on the MP3Car forum, or the Fluxmedia forum (CF forum). Why does that matter anyways? She obviously saw better benefits with Flux and took it. In my opinion, I think she saw that MP3Car was going nowhere with SD and saw that CF was growing and picked the obvious route. Any of you would have done exactly the same thing, i know i would have.
