Streetdeck application start sluggish...
I have been messing around with my system specs for the last few weeks and I finally have all the components that I want. After doing a clean install for some reason streetdeck is acting up, and I have reason to believe it has something to do with the navigation module. I have a Custom Built 2GHz Core Duo class processor/motherboard, 2GB Ram, 100GB 7200K HD,225 MB Onboard Video, and I am using a EVDO card (Novatel U727) for GPS and Internet. I have also installed the latest update (1.1.1.6). I read a post http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/stre...liziation.html that talked about the Infill files possibly being the cause but I have followed those steps only to have even worse results. Originally the streetdeck start up would get sluggish during "navigation initializing" but after following those steps it now also slows down cosiderably during "applying settings" .So you can see my problem is that my system is incredibly fast booting up in under 15-20 seconds but once in windows streetdeck is autostarted and I now have to wait an additional 25 seconds for streetdeck to load up and then an additional 30 seconds to get the navigation module up. What can I do to improve SD's start up time? I am going to try and do another clean install tommorrow but if I have some pointers maybe it will help. Also if anyone knows of any other "hidden" tweaks to impove system boot time beside the most common ones listed (disable services, noguiboot, add/remove programs (add windows components), pagefile, and bios boot order)? I also have the log attached.
