4 days and no response to someone in need. That's some damn good customer service.
Chuck all is taken care of. Somehow a virus was taking over communication to the com port and after a virus scan and purg of the reg XM worked perfect.

SD is getting ready to disappear me thinks. Snoop around on the forum, you guys aren't the only ones.
I would recommend a direct serial connection if you have a COM port available. Someone on this forum made serial cables for the XM direct box and I picked one up for $10 I think. Much more reliable than USB.
For the XM adapter, I think you're referring to: http://www.rush2112.net/
Ok, making sure I understand this right.....
The HD Radio serial cable will also work for XM Direct? I've seen 3 separate links and they all go directly to the HD Radio cable.
My opinion is my own.
I'm not sure about that... I would email Mitch who runs that http://www.rush2112.net/ site.
