Do you have a link for a download? If not, it is times like this that I am glad I am a full-time grad student. Academic pricing rocks.
Indeed some stores already sell it. And some users have it :) Here are first impressions: Review: MapPoint 2009
I was at Fry's yesterday. All they had was Streets and Trips 2008. :(
Anyone try it out yet?
We know that Version 2 of SD will not natively support Mappoint as it is going to use another NAV engine.
For those of you still interested, SD V1 will run off of Mappoint 2009 maps. After Chuck suggested that there shouldn't be any reason it wouldn't I went ahead and ordered it and I'm very glad I took a chance and did. For a full discussion as well as to see if missing streets in MP 2006 are showing up in MP 2009 jump over to this thread.

Wanted to find out if mappoint 2009 Europe would work in SD1 before buying...
Anyone? Dont want to waste a lot of money!
Don't buy Mappoint 2009 EU. There is now MapPoint 2010 Europe.
They must have put the EU version out today? Last i checked 2009 was the newest on MS Mappoint hp. and that is a day or two ago...
Does anyone know if it will work with Streetdeck ver. 1?
