nm when I was reading posts it sounded as if you were running some of you mappoint from the dvd. I was about to ask is 1.1.1.0 much slower to load then 1.1.0.0, once I get 1.1.1.6 up and running I will worry about tweaking the loadup speed. I think my next 2 projects are

1) voice (I am going to order that mic/soundcard tomorrow morning)

2) internet, I already have unlimited data with my motorola q just never had a use for it in the car though this yahoo music is pretty cool now that I am messing with it.

No, just after I installed mappoint, I immediately delete the MS locator files folder. That's why I suggest that other thread once you are loaded and running. There are a few tricks to get 5 second or faster Streetdeck load times.

does anyone know where to get the sd installer from , i have deleted sd from the comp to try and fix my nav problem and forgot i cant get it downloaded now!

oh and GOC when you redo the UI can you ditch the slider for the volume control , and just have 2 up and down buttons? the slider it a PITA thanks

Rename extension to exe.

(Admin's: it's still just a trial version, you need registration code to activate it)

hi many thanks guys , i want to try out the andrea mic i just got , got it sent by mp3car cost $59 and $45 carrige , when it landed here customs charged me £22! about $44 bloody expensive mic!

Working on it...switched Google POI to Yahoo. Now I'm working on parsing the XML. It will essentially be the same Mod with Yahoo POIs instead of Google.
