No birds eye view stuff will be integrated.

You will be able to lat and long out of the SDK as you can now. I don't think anything to do with the nav engine will effect a tracking app as it should be tied just to the GPS and not to the nav engine.

Please don't say no to everything i ask...
Is it possible to get v2 Lite license when it comes out, so that we (EU users) can enjoy v2 too? (Use v2, and close it to use v1 when we need nav) In this case will we still get a discount when/if EU version of v2 comes out in the future?
I know you don't like to make coming soon promises again, but is EU version on your roadmap?
Will v1 support Mappoint 09?
Will v1 have all the features originally promised except bluetooth (especially POIs and Vista support)?
Now that v1 is no longer supported what happens to registrations? Are we still limited to one computer at a time, and only two reinstalls?
Does v2 lite have same limitations? Or it doesn't, because there are no problems with nav licensing in Lite?

Also please clean up your private msgbox, so i can ask you some questions there.

Chuck stated earlier that the cost will be under 100 USD to uppgrade from lite to V2 full. I really believe this would apply on V2 Europe when/if it is released.

Other than this I really dislike the fact that V2 only will apply to NA and Canada.
But I figure the vast majority of SD users are located here. It is simply (and sadly) a question of make an income out of the expences regarding maps and the labour of making this nav angine.
Another thing Chuck said in some post it will be possible to use another nav angine trough SDK. Hopefully someone can do this.

WRT Bluetooth license, why is it not possible to use the Windows Stack available with XP SP2 and Vista (includes SDK)

I have used it for HID devices, with little difficulty. It does include HFP profiles as well, however I cannot comment on the usefulness or functionality.

Just curious why licensing another stack is required.

so will sd v2 be able to handle mappoint 2009? and will v2 , handle the music differantly? or have a fresh or updated UI ?

There will be no built in mappoint support in V2. Music is the same.

The microsoft XP stack is unuseful and unfunctional wrt bluetooth usage you would want to use with your phone in the car. It needs to support speaker phone audio and simultaneously maintain a data connection for dialing etc.

ok should i should stick with sd then? , its just it seems a step backwards from v1 , no eu navigation , no bluetooth , etc etc i dont want to sound negative , its just when other front ends are perfecting there nav and phone solutions , sd seems to have forgotten theres? but since i paid for sd , then i feel i should stick with it

one last thing will the onevoice plug in for sd work with the new v2 ? cheers!
