OneVoice Plugin Beta on Streetdeck

I feel the same way about the streetdeck 2. It nav is better then version 1, but the same old issues. no bluetooth,voice control and crashes. Well it hard for me to get customers to by my carputer system due to the fact when I demo it my car I always have all kinds of issues. Does centrafuse have any of these issues? I might use there frontend when I sell these units. I cant have these kinds of issue when my money is on the line.

Promises, promises, promises! It makes me so mad after all this time to see SD go down the tubes AGAIN, or lose out to an inferior frontend or even the iphone for godofcpu's sake - SD had such huge promise when first launched in 2006 and a loyal following - me included. I just fail to understand why after the debacle of SD1 and months of silence for secrecy reasons or whatever other bull**** excuses were given online in these pages. Sometimes it seems like the CF guys must have bought SD just to win out! In this day an age, why can't pros write stable code or any code for that matter and have the b..ls to charge big $ that relies on the goodness of users to write it for them as digital mods....sorry just ranting!!

sd2 was a great release...and not sure what you guys are talking about-stability was flawless especially compared to cf (cause they have no idea how to use a windows api - it crashes and you have no taskbar).

The problem was there was absolutely no momentum after release. He tried to cater to making it run on one terrible device and development came to a standstill.

I will never understand why people pay huge $$$ for crappy FE's (back when I and I assume some of you bought this - there were no good alternative). Take half the money you would have spent and donate it to a good open source FE - that way you can never be screwed over and development can never just "stop".

It's still full of bugs:
Song fade still does not work.
Song list when using shuffle bug is still there.
POI icons are still missing from the map screen.
2.1 is still missing (needed to release the Streetvoice program).
Etc. Etc.
Don't get me wrong, I still love SD2. I'm just very tired of waiting.........

StreetVoice? You mean the voice when you are navigating? It comes with SD1, just install it from the original disk.

I got SD2 so that I could develop mods for it. Only now I can't think of any ideas. Well, except one. I'd like to listen to Digitally Imported from the interface. Maybe I'll just make a quick plugin to do that.
