Well, you could run both. I mean you DO have a license.
You have to try the new installer! They changed it up "considerably".
Just wanted to say congrats, and how impressive it is, to all the SD customers who let patience win out in the end. Streetdeck isn't dead after all.
I jumped ship to go with Centrafuse and am very happy, but admittedly the main reason I switched is because I truly thought that SD had been abandoned. I'm way too invested in CF to switch back now, but I wanted to give a genuine and sincere congrats to the SD users who stood by the product they loved and believed in, and to Chuck for breaking away from the chains of mp3car that bound you. It's easy to see from the turnover of mods and mp3car employees that you made the right choice!
Good luck to everyone!![]()

My opinion is my own.
On my old system I'm getting single digit load times with the new installer. It is the full 1.1.1.9 build. Prior to this you would need to install the trial, then update it with the latest version.
Well said Nola111 I to jumped ship and went to RoadRunner which I'm totally in love with but enough of that.. .....
Considering the events that took place the for the past few months I'm really happy to see StreetDeck back up and in action and that those that did stick with SD are were not left out in the cold. I may nolonger use SD but best of luck to you Chuck and if my eyes do not deceive me is danielkh (ever the optimist) a moderator on the new SD forums![]()
OK, kimota, Nola111 has an excuse.....CF and SD don't play nice together, but you..... you use RR, so you can run both.I think you would be pleasantly surprised by the ease of the new install.
My opinion is my own.
I'm seriously considering RR with DigitalFX 4.0 right now, due to some features (specifically virtual disks, as well as some others) that it has that SD does not, and will not, in addtion to the lack of (nor a need for) "test mode" with RR.
I run DFX3 when the weather is bad because I love it's weather feature (or I want to listen to the radio dammit). I tried loading 4, but it did strange things to my fonts and it wasn't worth it to me to fix it when I have dfx3 set EXACTLY how I want it.![]()

I'll figure out how to get them to play nice together... You're right, Dan, I have a license for SD, I may as well at least have it installed on my system and use it every now and again. Plus I'll always want to keep up with any updates and see what has changed and been added.
