NOTICE: I posted this same thread on Streetdeck forums. Just looking for a little help.
Hi!
Well after reading about this stuff for 3 months and trying all the frontends I've decided that SD2 meets all my
requirements except support for
bluetooth phones. Now the speaker on my iPhone is okay it certainly sounds much better through my car speakers. Not to mention the fiddling about trying to turn down the stereo is... well... Lame.
So I have read through the BlueSoeil SDK documentation and I have a very simple understanding of the SD2 API. I just browsed through it in Visual Studio. It seems there is the ability to control volume in the Media Controller so an integration could be seemless.
Now my questions are these. How many people would use this? How much support could I get from this forum? I can certainly say that the Centrafuse forums are lit up like Christmas Trees. The forums here are no so lit up.

Has this been done? I know Centrafuse uses this bluetooth stack and API.
I have listed below the features I think it would need.
1. Mute media for active calls
2. CallerID if not full phonebook support - iPhone supports PBAP for these.
3. Handsfree calling.. Duh!

- iPhone supports HFP 1.5
4. Big number buttons (today) and voice dialing (future) - iPhone 3G has no voice dialing but Microsoft Speech could do this.
We could get most of these features through the cPhoneTool form BlueSoleil but I'm not sure the integration could be seamless.
Anyway, I would like to start this project soon. Phone integration is holding up my CarPC project. My 08 Tundra has an AUX jack that I use right now. I spend a lot of time on the phone in my truck.
Any help would be appreciated.
