I decided to wipe my sd database and start over with a paired down collection of music instead of my entire collection. When I try to add the music now under the music settings it's goes 1%, 2%..56%...100%... Crash. No music listed on restart.
I have tried reinstalling etc but I can't add music now to street deck. The inky thing I can think of is that it's finding a file it doesn't like and crashing.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
I'd be surprised if any users left on mp3Car forums use streetdeck anymore. Have you tried the streetdeck forums?
Is it really that bad? Is no one building car pcs anymore?
Plenty of people are getting into the car PC hobby still. Its just Streetdeck moved off of this forum for the most part and all of their support is handled on their own hosted forums.Quote:

I fixed the issue. It was choking on some lossless files. Any suggestion on front ends? I haven't looked at anything new in the last 2-3 years.
It may be a dead product, but IMO it' still the best there is. Centrafuse is so bloated it feels like my PC is 500mhz. Everything else is either too buggy, too complicated to configure or not on par feature wise with SD.
I still use my sd2 most of the time. but I also use OM. I wish someone would do something with sd2 again, like others said, been dead for like a year now. I just like the was sd2 is laid out. but I think OM will past them soon. just waiting.
