also god_of_cpu, when do you think you will be making complete packages with a bluetooth and radio chip built in, thats when i will be buying the system...i dont except a certain date but like within 5 months? or something like that thanks
Sorry to be picky - can you quantify that... ie stats, returns, customer satifaction etc ?Originally Posted by god_of_cpu

I'm trying to stay objective here been a mod at Digital-car.co.uk but a statment like that needs to be backed up... if it can great shout it from the top of the roofs but it does.Originally Posted by godofcpu
I'd also split it down to USA and Non US ie EU....
Brand ( which mp3car has the best of ) is not the same as value and level of service.
I'd also ( from a community view ) be intrested in finding out if you plan to sell via other retailers such as Cartft.com, Linitx.com and digitalww.com lincenced or not ?
Have you approached them ? If so would you also plan to offer their own custom systems such as Cartft.com's front end ICT ?
PS - Still think the custom tags not very discriptive btw.
Exactly, the value is a waste of space for us in the UK ... the whole reason we use uk based retailers!
Hey god_of_cpu, do us all a favor and stop talking the "marketing-speak". One of the great things about mp3car forums is that it tends to be a BS-free zone.
If your product is great, tell us why and how, not "No one even competes!" that's right up there with "new and improved" or "4 out of 5 carPC users pick..."
When I hear those lines, I write off that product. Know what I mean?
M10000 Nehemiah, 1Gb RAM, Opus 90w PS, Buffalo Tech WLI2-USB2-G54, 160 Gb HDD, GlobalSat BU-353 GPS, iGuidance, Zippy EL-610, Panasonic CW8123B Slim Slot CDRW/DVD, 10" Lilliput, Sony XA-300, Sony CDX-MP30 Head, OBD-II
Those reponses were in reference to the mp3car store and not StreetDeck and in response to statements that we simply can't answer. Ask any real technical question about StreetDeck and you will get a real answer from me. Thats how its always been.Originally Posted by tom2112
Unfortunatly, there are members on this forum who don't care about it continuing and as forum administrators our answers do have to be gaurded when not of a technical nature.
Ask questions that are based solely on my opinion or make an uninformed statement like we make too much money and you will get a marketing answer. Margins, customers, and suppliers, as with any buisiness, are all confidential information that we can't just make public knowledge. I also can't comment much on future plans until they are set in stone.
I haven't and won't compare StreetDeck to any of the other front ends available, but if you have a question about a specific feature and how we do it, I would be happy to go into details about it.
If you just want to know generally why StreetDeck is great, just goto StreetDeck.com and see for yourself.
Finally, if you do have a serious concern that we couldn't give a satisfactory answer online for, feel free to PM or e-mail us and we can try to cut through any BS.
So StreetDeck....how soon before you can interface with the MOST system?
Do that and I will send $$$ immediately!

Delphi SkyFi2 XM (in nice custom mount)
CarPC x [----------] 0% (yeah.... still planning it out)
I dont know what MOST is, but the SDK will be available within a couple months to allow you to write some code to communcate with any custom interface.Originally Posted by Tarheelvolvo
Just to be clear we are not NOT intrested in keeping the shop / commercials open in fact we support it existance. You guys in the states have a good vendor to go to. What I think most of us are saying is keep it seprate.... ie you said it your self you have to be guarded on your responses in the forum because of the conflicts you have. This is another example.... you can't be a mod and stay neutral when you sell or support a commercial products.Originally Posted by god_of_cpu
Sorry felt because of the obvious comment this had to be said.
Again, all credit to for creating SD.... is just the conflicts with the forum I care so much about I am concerned with.
