    I agree.

This is why StreetDeck.com is on a separate site and why I am only a moderator for the StreetDeck forum and not the rest of the site.

This is another example.... you can't be a mod and stay neutral when you sell or support a commercial products.

Sorry felt because of the obvious comment this had to be said.

Again, all credit to for creating SD.... is just the conflicts with the forum I care so much about I am concerned with.

Well the only posts I deleted were because I felt they were off topic and didn't contribute to that particular thread in a meaningful way.

I am the moderator of the StreetDeck forum and I am obviously biased towards StreetDeck. What is valid is an opinion and when in the streetdeck sub forum, what is valid is whatever my opinion is. If you don't like my opinion, I don't moderate any other subforum, pick any one of them and have fun.

I don't see how any of this is "CES Pictures" related anyhow People get weird when money enters any equation. Just go look at the huge uproar created when it was announced that centrafuse was supposedly going to start costing $.

I think the above statemnet is just going to cause more resentment towards you, and is basically an open invitation for people to really take the pi$$ out of you and your product.

Yes you should delete anything which is blatently offensive from the Streetdeck forum, however it should not be up to your opinion what is valid and not valid, your potential customers have a right to know what other people feel about your product.

By saying 'whatever my opinion' gives the impression that you may delete posts/threads which show valid concerns over your product just because your opinion is you don't want it in your forum.

    Just my observations.

Why shouldn't it be up to me? Frodo controls his subforum, same for guino and same for every other software sub forum. Why should our official software forum be controlled by someone unaffliated with the software? I believe in our product and I agree having informed customers works in our interest. I haven't deleted any posts from people who actually used StreetDeck and had a concern about using it. I don't have any problem with constructive critcism. I was really just stating the obvious when I said that I as a moderator will delete posts that I find are inappropriate, this what moderators do, I didn't mean to imply I was going anything above and beyond this.

I never said you shouldn't moderate your own forum. It was the wording you used in the statement I quoted which was of issue.

As far as I am aware Frodo and Guino have not pruned their forum in anyway.
