    GPS Voice / Natural Voice?

Have you guys considered including ATT Natural Voice or a comparable package? I installed ATT and it made the GPS experience much more enjoyable. The Microsoft SAM version I had installed actually scared my 2 year old!

Yes, we use natural voice here too interally. I'm not sure if it will make it in the final version or not, but more then likely we will include some better voice.

I googled ATT Natural Voice and this came up:

The only purchase information I could find was for developers. Is this something that an end user can buy?

I ended up using one of the 4 voices that came with my HomeSeer home automation software. I think you can buy it from AT&T directly. I use the 16Khz Crystal voice and it sounds really good.

    How'd you do this?

I am looking at the AT&T voices...Would like to go with AUDREY - how easy is this to integrate into streetdeck? Is it pretty straightforward, and if so, which version/where should I buy it from?

Just install the AT&T software, go to Start>Control Panel>Speech, select the "Text To Speech" tab, and choose your voice. Couldn't be any easier.

You can also choose the voice from navigation settings in StreetDeck.

I got AT&T Natural Voice installed yesterday. I went to Start>Control Panel>Speech and changed the voice to "Mike". For some reason, the Navigation still uses the Microsoft woman's voice.

I can't for the life of me find the "voice" setting in the Navigation Settings in Streetdeck...any tips on where that setting is? :-)

EDIT: Nevermind...I didn't scroll down far enough to see the setting. It's working now. :-D

Mike? You don't like any of the female voices?

I don't know that I like being given directions by a woman. :-)
