SD hangs on network sync status screen going into stand-by mode?

Sometimes SD 1.0.4.4, at shutdown, hangs on Network Sync Status screen and it does not go into stand-by mode on my laptop. Then after car restarts, unless laptop battery is drained out, there is this watch dog that usually just sleeps down in the try, which starts jumping pop up messages about if I like to restart SD. Most of the time WiFi hardware is disabled while laptop is in the car. Other programs running at these times are MapMonkey, PhoneControl and Cipher or none, that is just SD. Anyone else have similar problem with stand-by and if it was fixed in 1.0.4.5? Thanks

Once I confirmed the network connection was solid in WinXP (had IPConfig nodetype set wrong - god knows why) everything worked fine in SD. No problems - but haven't resynced since going to 1.0.4.5.
