The new screen on the store would get a grade of an A+ where as the one in the infill unit gets a grade of B. Both look really good. The Infill unit is not as bright but still 1000 times better than a common touchscreen...

Does a hard drive connected via USB work seamlessly with the interface on the fly?

I'm really interested in this deck to use for my track car. There is a datalogit function for the computer and a track plot that I would like to hook up.

My question is, does and can the computer still operate with the screen closed? (sorry if this is an easy question, I've never used a flip screen)

Also, would it be possible to post the instruction manual?

Like 7racer, I have need to run my own windows applications. It does "most everything" a normal Windows XP computer would do, right?

It IS a windows XP computer. It is just highly optimized for use in the car. Theres nothing a generic windows xp computer can do that the Infill can't, the Infill just allows you to do it in the car easily and includes all the additional hardware you need to replace your head unit.
