Street Deck looses config.

I am having problems with Street Deck loosing settings. I will change a setting, lets say no shuffle. After a couple of restarts it will be shuffling again. Also goes back to the default shutdown options. Some times the config wizard will start on startup. The program will also some times just close on it's own. No error message or anything. Just listening to music, and then it's closed.

The only way the config wizard will run again is if it couldn't read or only partially saved the config file. There is no other way that the wizards should get reset from within the program.

Does this occur when just closing StreetDeck, or when hibernating / powering off the computer?

It does it at random times. It might run fine one time, then the next time it starts all the settings will be back to the original. Then a couple times after that it will try to run the wizard. If I uninstall and reinstall can I use the original registration code?

Yes, you only need a new registration code if you change your hard drive, you can even reinstall the OS and it will work fine.

Also start running with -verbose and the next time it does it, send the log to chuck@mp3car.com

I am unable to save my framerate in display options. After closing and re-opening streetdeck it always defaults back to 10fps. Any ideas? Is there a switch to force frame rate or an xml file that can be modified manually?

The 3d frame rate is limited to 15 fps on the Infill.

Strange, I can set it to 45fps and it runs smoothly. I can go back into settings and it shows 45fps. The graphics move fluidly at this setting. After I exit streetdeck and go back in it is set back to 10fps. Other setting changes stay permanent. The infill has a 3d graphics supported chipset that should be able to handle higher than 15fps?

Its reset everytime it starts back up if its above 15. It is capable of doing 45 fps, but it uses the CPU cycles, not just the GPU to do it, which means videos may not play well, routing can take much longer, delay loaded textures never get a chance to load, and basically anything that runs in the background doesn't get a chance to run or runs very slowly.

Thanks for the info. I am guessing you limited the fps after doing some benchmarks. Is it possible to override this either by starting streetdeck with command line, modifying a config file, or possibly add this to a later release?
