    Buggy SD

If SD is so buggy still, why is it not still in beta. There seems to be a lot of problems with key features such as navigation. I do not own a copy, but am getting eager to try it out. Just waiting for a less buggy release since I am expected to drop $200.00 on it

The most recent bugs have come mostly because we had to add features that only became relevant trying to ship the product. If you hadn't noticed our general release cycle is to release a more feature rich patch every month or so, then within a few days release a second patch that corrects any problems found because of the new features. 1.0.4.6 was pretty stable, 1.0.4.7 apparently is not, and 1.0.4.8 will be out by Monday. It isn't quite a stable / beta release cycle yet, but now that we have started shipping, we are going start keeping both a stable and beta setup online because there is still a number of small things that we think belong in version 1.

and dont forget, this is what this forum is for, to report bugs.

While there are bugs in SD, there are a heck of alot more (in my experiance) when running roadrunner.

I have no bugs to report, mine seems to be working perfectly!

Road Runner is free, not starting a war here, just asking a question. Another reason for the forum you know...
