Smooooooth GPS Updates (Video Blog)

Smooth GPS updates have been in StreetDeck for the past couple of versions, but this is the first chance I had to make a new video of it.

I'd never noticed it, but I've had GPS Smoothing on since it was an available option.
On our roadtrip to El Paso, by daughter really liked watchign the arrow move along the highway along with my truck.

I've used the NeverLost system that you get in a Hertz (basically a Magellan standalone) and it simply redraws the map every so often (10 or 15 seconds, I think). It works, but it's certainly not aesthetically pleasing.

I have a GPS system on my car bought from http://www.lweshop.com/ and it really has helped enormously in finding new locations. I found this blog most interesting as I didn’t realize all of the wide range of applications out there today for GPS technology
