    1.0.5.0?

    I just reinstalled the OS on my carputer. I downloaded the newest full setup for Streetdeck to make sure I had a clean install. I noticed that it wasn't pre-loading my playlist in the background like it was in 1.0.4.9, so I thought I had an older version. When I went to update to 1.0.4.9, it told me that I couldn't do the update because the version of Streetdeck installed was newer...version 1.0.5.0.

    What gives? Was background playlist loading taken out in 1.0.5.0? Why is the full installer "newer" than the most recent update available?

    Yes, I haven't updated the update page yet. I probably won't release 1.0.5.0 as an update. It was made so the shipping version wouldnt' crash by default. The sole change in it is that -NoBackgroundMP3 was changed to -BackgroundMP3 and background mp3 loading was disabled by default. 1.0.4.9 was kept up as the latest update to get some feedback for the issue.

    Ah...fair enough. Good idea to make the default be stable and force us to turn on a potential instability. :-)
